About This Web Site
This Web site was created as part of a Digital Media Arts and Technology Masters thesis by Ryan Torre in the Department of Telecommunication Information Studies and Media at Michigan State University. "MMOGs and Your Teen" was designed to be a guide for parents about a genre of video games called Massive Multiplayer Online Games (MMOGs). It is intended to help parents understand the video games that their teenage children play.

About the Author of This Web Site
Ryan Torre has earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Telecommunications, Information Studies, and Media at Michigan State University.
His interests include the use of multimedia for training or education, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and professional video production. He has programmed interfaces using ActionScript, Lingo, JavaScript and C.
